International arrivals

For flights from outside the EU or carrying non-EU citizens

Cranfield Airport holds a Certificate of Agreement with Border Force.  We are not an approved port of entry under immigration legislation and therefore notification requirements for international flights apply.

International Flights from outside the EU arriving at Cranfield Airport will be required to complete both a General Aviation Report (GAR) and a Remote Immigration Form (RIF) in advance of the flight.  A Remote Immigration Form will need to be completed for each international passenger.

The form must be with us at least 24 hours prior to flight arrival.

It is imperative that details submitted on the GAR form and the Remote Immigration Forms match exactly the passport or ID card that passengers or crew will be carrying with them to avoid delays upon arrival at Cranfield.

After your flight has arrived at Cranfield, a member of our handling team will  make a short telephone call to Luton Border Force who will provide onward clearance. This process usually takes only a few minutes.

After completion, please send your forms to Cranfield Airport Handling (airporthandling@cranfield.ac.uk). We will forward them to the relevant authorities on your behalf.  Outside normal airport handling operating hours (0800 to 1900 local time), please send your completed form to the following email addresses :

After completion, a copy of the GAR should be sent to airporthandling@cranfield.ac.uk
